Jerry, with his twin brother Tim, has assembled a team to write and illustrate the essential steps in first aid. The First Aid Emergency Handbook, 5th edition, is a mix of ideas, graphic design and first-aid expertise which has made the book one of the best in the industry. It is easy to use with coloured tabs and alphabetical arrangement. It is the only book ever to win the Australian Design Award.

Tim Tyrrell has degrees in commerce, law, information systems and building. In 1988 he and Jerry started Survival which has been consistently the leading innovator in first aid products in Australia. Survival's print products have sold over 2 million units. Their iFirstAid application which Tim pioneered is Apple's most popular free first aid application. Survival's First Aid KITs continue Survival's success at providing high quality, easy to use first aid products.
Mike Tyrrell

Michael is responsible for running all of Survival’s online portals. Michael survived the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami in Thailand and has realised that you never really know what is around the corner. Following his life changing experience, Michael believes there is no better way to be prepared for an emergency than to have one of Survival’s first aid kits and the knowledge of how to administer first aid.

As a long life friend of Michael, Jordan joined Survival in 2013 to help spread the word of Survival's amazing first aid kits. With a background in web design and development and online marketing, Jordan oversees all of Survival's online web portals as well as social media communication. Jordan firmly believes that Survival have the best first aid kit on the market and wants to give everyone in the world the ability to experience Survival's amazing products.
